Evangeline week two | Santa Monica newborn photographer

When clients call me for newborn shoots I make it very clear that I am a lifestyle newborn photographer. What that means is I document real moments in your home. I don’t use props or backdrops. If your style is more Anne Geddes for your newborn, that’s great, but I am not the photographer for you. The same goes for Evie. When I see moments I grab my camera and click. Even if I wanted to get all Anne Geddes with our baby I would have a very difficult time considering she is two weeks old and is 10.13 pounds and 22 inches long. Not so sure she would fit all curled up in a tiny basket 🙂 The crown photo you see below is just to be funny but man, that crown sure is cute!
