Evangeline Vera week one | Santa Monica newborn photographer

Our baby girl Evangeline Vera was born August 30th 2015 at 11:57am. She weighed 9.7 pounds (wow!) and is the most perfect girl ever. She smiles, she holds her head up, she is so strong, she makes the funniest noises, she slept for six hours straight at five days old! I could go on and on. I take a million iphone photos of her because I am mostly laid up in bed nursing her, but when I can I am trying to use my big camera as much as possible. Here are photos from her first week of life.

I can’t believe I am making this blog post. My sweet soulmate has gone on to be our babies guardian angel, her spirit animal, her patronus. That is what I have to believe in order to stay sane. Hogwarts was only 10. He would have been 11 on October 10th. I thought I had many more years to come and our daughter would grow up with a funny little pig dog that she found absolutely hilarious. Maui babymoon

In July my husband and I went to Maui to celebrate our marriage. A couple weeks ago we went to celebrate our baby who will be arriving in August! There was no jumping off of waterfalls for me this time, but we still had an amazing trip. My favorite part was swimming in the olivine pools. This post will be a mixture of big camera and iphone photos.
