Evangeline is starting to kind of crawl! She can go backwards and even though she isn’t full on crawling, she can get pretty far across a room when you aren’t looking! She is refusing to eat anything but yogurt, (we created a monster) she loves papa’s banjo and listening to death metal with papa. She is still doing her squint smile which I am sure you didn’t miss below. Oh and she is obsessed with herself in the mirror. My favorite photos are the ones where she is trying to eat herself.

Evangeline is six months old and twenty six weeks old. This means she is now able to eat solid foods! We are doing baby led weaning for Evangeline because although it may be extremely messy, it is for sure the easiest method! So far she kinda likes bananas, hates sweet potato, likes mango, not sure yet about avocado, LOVES yogurt. She has also turned into a little food monster. Evangeline flew for her first time this week. We went to Texas to visit some of my closest friends. She was amazing on the plane both times. No crying, just huge smiles to everyone. Lots of raspberries too. Thank you to the guy I was sitting next to. He didn’t mind my extra tall babies’ legs and feet hanging over onto his side. He said her tiny feet in his ribs was “good luck.” Unfortunately I couldn’t bring my camera with me for the trip but we had a blast!

Evangeline has become needier than usual. I guess six months is when separation anxiety kicks in and boy, that describes my baby bird perfectly. I feel incredibly grateful my job allows me to be with my baby 24/7 except when I am doing photoshoots, which means I am away from her two hours at most. This week she also rolled from her tummy to back and has been a rolling machine ever since. She is also so close to crawling! She tries so hard her face turns red!
