The most important part of this blog post is please take note that the hideous basketball hoop no longer exists by our pool. It is long gone and I am so much happier. Lots of exploring happened in May. I have some amazing spots on my list now that I am ready to take clients to! I love location scouting with my girls, but unfortunately sunset is after their bed time. If we take them out for sunset photos, they are little nightmares the entire next day! It started off with Evangeline madly in love with Gruff, but now it’s Goldie & Gruff. Forever bffs. She’s constantly wanting to know where he is and saying things like “awww my baby!! Ma baby!! Awwww puppy!!!” I can’t believe how much he has grown since last month’s blog post! The last images in the field are when I needed to location shoot for my sessions! Evangeline took the photo of mama and papa! I am so proud of her skills! She says she wants to be a mommy & photographer when she grows up.

January is the month of Gruff! Gruff is our boxer puppy. Evangeline loves him so much she cried her eyes out because “I just love him so much.”

I barely had any photos to share for November because that was the month of horrible back pain and surgery. Now it’s December and I am feeling so much better! You can tell by the amount of photos I took of the girls this month! Also, December = Christmas so I have a lot to share!

I made up for barely taking any photos in September! Halloween was so fun with the girls. Evangeline LOVES trick or treating. She ran from house to house. Goldie was just happy to walk along and carry her little bucket. Her birthday twin, Aliyah, joined us for the fun! Our hens started laying their beautiful colored eggs and I let Evangeline find the first one. We have white, pink, two shades of gorgeous green, and a dark brown with black speckles. Thank you girls! We had our kitchen remodeled and the first thing we did was make cookies!

My Evangeline Vera turned four on August 30th! I have been blogging her weekly, and then monthly photos since the first week of her life. I’ve never missed a blog post! She also started her last year of preschool in August. Birdie girl is growing up!

I feel like I have been really relying on my iPhone for photos since we are mainly at the pool, bay, or beach. My camera is just so heavy and not easy to bring out in those wet situations. The girls are loving their chickens and Goldie is obsessed with her fire hat.

The most exciting thing about June is that we had a gorgeous custom chicken coop made and we have chickens! The girls LOVE them. They love to just sit and watch them. Their names are Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Anna, & Elsa. Chickens are for sure a joy bringer! Goldie is fully walking now and I think the butt scoot is a thing of the past and that makes me so sad! My babe is growing up! Evangeline started dance lessons and loves them!
