I often get asked if I’m ok photographing children with special needs. The answer will always be yes. I have photographed so many special needs children, and always have an amazing outcome. This sweet boy has autism and major sensory issues. His mama is very chill about it. Doesn’t stress, which I’m telling you, is the BEST thing you can do with your child. Special needs or not. They feed off our energy. He did so well, because both mama and I were so chill about everything. If he didn’t feel like taking a photo, fine! I give him a break and then ask him questions to engage with me. Mama was extremely impressed with how well I worked with him. This is basically a PSA to let you know not to be scared to take photos with your special needs children
