I can’t even begin to tell you how overwhelming it is to move to a new state and not know all the hot photography spots immediately! I have a long list of Arizona photography spots going, but have yet to explore them because of Covid. We decided to drive by the Salt River and were totally blown away by how magical the entire area is. That is without even getting out of the car and going down to the river! The drive is incredible! The mountains, the cacti, the light, the lush trees. Arizona is magic! With everything closed and seeing cars with tickets on them, we decided not to take a risk and stay in the car. As we were leaving the area I saw a little pull over spot and what looked like a real magical spot for photos. I posted some photos on my personal instagram and some of my new photographer/mom friends were like “hey! I know that spot! I shoot there!” I am so proud of myself for finding a legit spot, without having a clue it’s a spot!
