This week brought lots of new noises. I love her different sounds. She also does a great boo boo lip that I must try and photograph. Evie sleeps in her crib next to our bed now as well & loves watching her mobile.

Here are photos of Evangeline’s third week of life. I decided that instead of doing the monthly photo of her, I am going to take one weekly. I did a 52 weeks project a couple years ago and now I will do one for Evangeline. I decided to do this after seeing her one week photo. When clients call me for newborn shoots I make it very clear that I am a lifestyle newborn photographer. What that means is I document real moments in your home. I don’t use props or backdrops. If your style is more Anne Geddes for your newborn, that’s great, but I am not the photographer for you. The same goes for Evie. When I see moments I grab my camera and click. Our baby girl Evangeline Vera was born August 30th 2015 at 11:57am. She weighed 9.7 pounds (wow!) and is the most perfect girl ever. She smiles, she holds her head up, she is so strong, she makes the funniest noises, she slept for six hours straight at five days old! I could go on and on. I take a million iphone photos of her because I am mostly laid up in bed nursing her, but when I can I am trying to use my big camera as much as possible. Here are photos from her first week of life.
