Hi I'm Genevieve Anders and I live in Santa Monica, California with my husband and our three dogs. I'm a portrait photographer specializing in newborns, babies, children, families, couples, engagements, portraits, senior portraits, and pets.

I have been a professional model for over ten years. I have worked with some amazing photographers in my career. My favorites have to be Bruce Weber and Kate Powers. I always thought it would be fun to be on that side of the camera and now I am getting my chance.

Favorite things: animals, Harry Potter, pho, beach, dresses, reading, and photographing you!

I am very behind on blogging. I got so busy for the Holidays that I just could not keep up. I am pretty embarrassed to be going all the way back to Halloween! The Meyer family is known for the amazing outfits the boys are always decked out in. Their Halloween costumes sure didn’t disappoint! This party was so fun. It was actually on Halloween day and it was also celebrating their oldest son’s birthday. I loved looking at all the costumes!

This is awesome! I want a b-day party like that!

I was so excited when M booked me to photograph his proposal to his future wife! A little nervous too hoping I wouldn’t scare her haha. We decided on El Matador beach in Malibu for the proposal. It’s beautiful and looks so different than Santa Monica beach. The proposal was beautiful as you will see. M drew her a comic of them going on a hike and in the end he is standing with the ring behind her back. So that’s what you see her first opening in the proposal photos. So perfect! She was obviously shocked and and I love that she can’t stop staring at her ring.
