I loved photographing the Davis family. I met them at their beautiful home in Venice and we took some photos in their backyard. Then we walked over to the beach where it was super windy, but still got some beautiful images. Their baby girl was turning one, and this was their first time doing a photoshoot.
After taking photos at Primo Passo in Santa Monica we headed to Venice. Caitlin had two houses in mind she wanted to shoot in front of but we didn’t have the address for either. Somehow, we found both houses! The last happens to belong to famous photographer Philip Dixon. He was outside when we arrived and we asked if it would be ok to take photos outside. He said yes and then told us to come in and look inside! It was AMAZING! I’ve never seen a house like this ever. He designed and built it 25 years ago.
