It’s amazing what you can do with just a tiny bedroom corner and beautiful window light. I adore this session. I suggest wearing neutrals for sessions because they photograph so well. This is a very good example of neutrals working out so well!

I really truly cannot believe I have a six year old daughter! I know it sounds cheesy to say this but I am going to say it anyway. It feels like just yesterday she was born! Who remembers baby bird? Evangeline LOVES school and learning. We are keeping tabs on what we think our daughters will be when they grow up and as of right now, age six, I am going for teacher! I got to photograph the sweetest family at the Riperian in Gilbert. It was crazy crowded because it was the weekend, but we made it work!
I discovered Mother Nature’s Farm on instagram! I couldn’t believe how darling their pumpkin patch was and needed to shoot there immediately! They also have a flower field. Total photographer’s dreamland!
The most important part of this blog post is please take note that the hideous basketball hoop no longer exists by our pool. It is long gone and I am so much happier. It was truly ruining my life because I couldn’t possibly take a nice photo with it ruining my background! Goldie’s room has been wallpapered and we LOVE it so much. Evangeline’s room is next! In June we escaped our Airbnb for a change of scenery & weather and headed to Flagstaff Arizona, where I froze my butt off. We stayed on the cutest farm airbnb and the girls LOVED it. I couldn’t believe how brave and fearless Goldie was with all their animals. I didn’t take very many photos because we ended up having a photographer come out and photograph us which was so nice. I was actually so cold in Flagstaff, that I was so happy to get back to 100+ degrees in Phoenix haha.
