I absolutely love this Russian outfit my cousin gave to me at our baby shower. It’s so cute and even has a little pocket for a plush matryoshka doll! Evangeline had her big modeling job for Target on Friday. She did great! She was a little bewildered being handed off to male model but she was super cute. Curious to see if she will make it in the ads!

This week I am making up for my lack of big camera photos last week. Evangeline is becoming a little human. She has always of course been a human, but now she’s doing all these amazing things. Evangeline learned how to roll over this week! She rolls on both sides and can roll back over on her back! We think she is either having a major growth spurt or is learning more new things because her sleeping has become pretty darn awful. Maybe she is learning to sit on her own! That is what I will tell myself anyway as I wake up every two hours to nurse her back to sleep.

Evangeline has a tooth! I thought last week she might be teething. She keeps trying to bite me and chew on everything. My friend even bought her a teething ring because we were so sure. Last night I rubbed my finger on her gum and whoa! Holy sharp little tooth! I can’t believe she has a tooth already. How did this happen! She can now hold up her head on her own so she gets to play in her bouncer toys.

Evangeline week eleven | Santa Monica baby photographer

Week eleven was a sad week. We said goodbye to our dear old friend Butch. Butch was our match maker, my husband’s soulmate, and the most loyal, human like dog I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I am so lucky to have been his mama. We all miss him dearly and I can’t wait to show Evie these photos one day and tell her he is the reason her mama & papa are together. Now she has two doggy angels watching over her.
