I love this family! I knew doing Bodie’s newborn photos would be extra special because of his super fun and darling big sisters! Even Harvey the doodle did not disappoint!

A rainy day newborn session 🤍 The light kept coming and going but was never really there. We used window light to create this dreamy vibe 🫶🏻
I had so much fun with this sweet family for their in home newborn session. It’s their eldest dog’s last winter so I really wanted to try and include her in the photos as much as possible.
I got to meet the little babe that was in his mama’s tummy when we did their maternity session! So cute! Harvey’s first Christmas mini session was a success!
Loved hanging out with the H family to capture their second babe’s newborn photos. I got to take big sister’s newborn photos as well!
We can’t expect perfection from our toddlers or even kids while doing newborn sessions. Their entire world just got flipped upside down. It’s no longer just them! Some siblings are super into the baby and some treat the baby like they don’t exist. Some act like if they touch the baby they will catch on fire 😅 Remain calm and go with the flow. Don’t try and force anything. Don’t get mad. Don’t threaten. Just chillllllll. I know it’s extremely stressful but our kids feed off our energy. Just interact with your child lovingly. It’s amazing what you can do with just a tiny bedroom corner and beautiful window light. I adore this session. I suggest wearing neutrals for sessions because they photograph so well. This is a very good example of neutrals working out so well!
