Loved photographing this family that was down for anything! Get in the freezing cold river and look like models? Sure! I tell clients this all the time, your photos are going to be a million times better if you actually get in the water, not stand by it! Standing near the ocean or river just comes off as cheesy to me. Get in the water! You won’t regret it!

The cutest mama and son team came into my studio for their Christmas mini session. I loved how she just let her child be a child! It was so fun! Candid photos are my favorite to capture and it shows with this session!
I had to blog this session immediately because I am so obsessed and just a tiny bit jealous! This is my friend and fellow photographer. I met her back in May when we first moved to Arizona. I booked her for my own photos in the hopes she would become my first Arizona friend, and my plan totally worked!! Haha. Now we shoot gorgeous photos together and take each other’s family photos.

I discovered Mother Nature’s Farm on instagram! I couldn’t believe how darling their pumpkin patch was and needed to shoot there immediately! They also have a flower field. Total photographer’s dreamland!
The E family wanted to do their family session at El Matador in Malibu and it was magical! I think I will forever only do sunrise sessions there. We were the only ones on the beach! The light was amazing. Pure magic was made!
