Genevieve is absolutely amazing! We booked with her for our maternity and newborn family photos and we could not have been happier with what we received. Genevieve is an absolute gem, and I cannot recommend her enough for maternity and newborn photography. When our maternity shoot day arrived with terrible weather and almost no natural light, she still managed to make magic happen — she got creative and made it work to produce the dreamiest photos I could have imagined. I had also made it very clear that my dog needed to be a true focal point of our shoots, not just an afterthought, and she delivered on that completely — she shines in every single photo right alongside us. Then she brought that same magic to our newborn session, capturing our new little family (pup included!) in a way that feels so authentic and beautiful. I've been following and admiring Genevieve's work she posts to Instagram. I was elated at the opportunity to work with her after shooting my shot upon seeing she had a last minute opening available for a dreamy sunset session with mini highlands at Sterling Hills Farm. Genevieve is a magician behind the lens and an absolute joy to have on site helping to direct shots! I could not have been more lucky in choosing her to shoot my very first professional photographs. Stars truly aligned as she accommodated me with ease after I submitted my inquiry through her user-friendly and beautiful website. Genevieve truly cultivated a smooth and pleasant experience capturing breathtaking photographs even in chilly and windy weather conditions. My fiancé and I had our engagement photos taken by Genevieve at the pool bar in which we first met. Neither of us generally take a lot of photos but Genevieve made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Genevieve was very prepared. She researched the venue beforehand and arrived on time with many poses in mind and continued to come up with brilliant ideas as the shoot continued. She took our vision and enhanced it. We had the absolute best experience working with Genevieve for both our maternity shoot and our newborn family photos. From start to finish, she was incredibly communicative and quick to respond, which made the entire process so easy and stress-free. Genevieve is wonderful! Prior to our session she was quick to correspond, answer questions and provide information. She shared a number of local venues to select from, offered wardrobe feedback, and has a client closet to select from-- if you need to borrow attire. From the very beginning, Genevieve went above and beyond. After having to reschedule once due to weather, I was nervous about how cold and windy the day of our session would be, but she showed up fully committed and made it happen without hesitation. Despite the brutal cold and wind, she worked efficiently and intentionally, never making the experience feel rushed or uncomfortable, and somehow still captured the most beautiful images. The results were absolutely stunning. What truly made the session unforgettable, though, was her energy and personality. Between Genevieve and Robin, the entire experience was filled with laughter. I genuinely could not stop laughing the whole time, even while freezing, which speaks volumes about how comfortable and joyful she made the session feel. Genevieve’s personality is just as powerful as her photography skills. She is passionate, creative, and fully present. Her pricing was also very reasonable for the quality, effort, and final product we received.
