I know everyone loves a good photographer horror story and boy, do I have one for you 😅

My camera kept flashing me an error code. I was like ok my camera is on her way out. It’s fine. I’ll always have my backup camera.

This stunning couple FLEW from Arizona to Virginia for these photos. Like sat her pregnant body on an airplane for me to take their photos in the tulips. Said camera breaks. In the tulips. During their session. It’s fine. Everything is fine because I have my backup camera right?

IT WASN’T my camera!!!!!! My lens DIED. People keep asking what happened to her and the answer is I killed her. I had a backup camera. I didn’t have a backup lens 😭

As I’m feeling waves of intense nausea and frantically scanning the crowds for a photographer that might have a lens I can borrow, I get my camera to turn back on. Through trial and error we figure out as long as I don’t freaking move a muscle, the lens will work.

I kept having Tyler tell me “don’t turn your lens. Don’t turn your lens.” 😂😭

It was so awful and so much precious light was lost with me begging my camera to turn back on, but this is what we captured with a broken lens and a broken inside photographer 🌷😅
