Cecilia needed portraits for rush. We walked around one of my favorite neighborhoods in Santa Monica for her shoot.
Arlene & Ariel | Los Angeles senior portrait photographer
Arlene & Ariel are best friends who wanted to shoot together for Arlene’s senior portraits. We did their shoot at El Matador in Malibu. I love doing best friend shoots. I used to make my brother take so many photos of my best friend & I when I was younger. Good old kodak disposable camera. The one hour to delevop the film felt like all eternity for us haha.
Elizabeth | Los Angeles senior portrait photographer
Elizabeth was so much fun to photograph. I told her to keep on moving and she did just that. She let it slip she’s a dancer and you know I made her dance! Elizabeth wanted her senior portraits taken in a location where no one would really know where she was. Can you guess where she was?
Tessa & Ashley | Santa Monica senior portrait photographer
Tessa & Ashely are best friends from Arizona. They wanted a beach vibe for their senior portraits and they wanted to do them together. We had fun getting soaked underneath the Santa Monica pier for thier photos.
Julia | Los Angeles senior portrait photographer
Julia is about to graduate college and wanted to ger senior portraits done back in Los Angeles where she grew up. We walked down Abbott Kinney and used the colorful walls to our advantage.
Marla | Los Angeles portrait photographer
Lovely Marla contacted me to do her portaits while she was vacationing in LA. She told me she has done some modeling and boy, was that obvious! This girl is so photogenic it’s crazy! I was so excited she wanted to do a bathing suit look!
Kate | Santa Monica portrait photographer
I took these photos of my friend Kate while she was home for Christmas break from college. Red looks lovely on her.
Caitlin Taylor part 2 | Los Angeles portrait photographer
After taking photos at Primo Passo in Santa Monica we headed to Venice. Caitlin had two houses in mind she wanted to shoot in front of but we didn’t have the address for either. Somehow, we found both houses! The last happens to belong to famous photographer Philip Dixon. He was outside when we arrived and we asked if it would be ok to take photos outside. He said yes and then told us to come in and look inside! It was AMAZING! I’ve never seen a house like this ever. He designed and built it 25 years ago.
Caitlin Taylor | Santa Monica portrait photographer
I photographed Caitlin two years ago for her senior portraits. As soon as she got out of the car in her tight skirt and crop top I said “model. You need to model.” This girl is seriously stunning. Inside and out. Since I photographed her she has blown up on social media and was even booked to do a shoot for Urban Outfitters! You can follow her at her blog Pretty Undecided or on Instagram. I have so many amazing photos of Caitlin I have to blog her in sections. We had an adventure day with Evangeline in tow (she […]
The Salton Sea & Salvation Mountain
My husband and I took a road trip last Sunday to see Salton Sea & Salvation Mountain. I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to play with my new camera and wear a tulle party dress to the desert. All the photos were taken with my canon Mark III and 50mm 1.4 lens. Edited with Vsco 05.
