In March we wore matching shirts, became obsessed with her mermaid stool, practiced raising her eyebrows, showed off her maternal side by swaddling her mermaid, rocked pigtails, went to the beach with her bestie, and met her baby cousin Isla. We also went and checked out the super bloom! My friend Kate was nice enough to take the flower photos of us. My husband took the first few and all were edited by me.
A very thoughtful daughter booked me to take family photos for her mom’s 60th birthday. Family all got together for her birthday party, so why not take some fun photos before the party! Arlington Gardens is so beautiful right now with everything in bloom!
I know it must come as such a shock to hear you are having twins! I imagine there would so many emotions flowing through you at once. How special though to receive not one baby, but two! It must be so incredibly hard when they are teeny. It’s so incredibly hard with just one! But imagine the fun and bond they are going to have. I love newborn sessions when a sibling is involved. They try to be gentle but get so excited from the newness and cute of their baby. Lucy’s big sister Amelia was unfortunatley getting the dreaded two year molars the day of our shoot. Poor girl couldn’t keep her hands out of her mouth and there are some photos where she is even gnawing on some ice. You gotta do what you gotta do!
I got to photograph Hudson for his one year photos. My gosh could he be any cuter? He is so loved by his sweet mamas. I loved the way he kept hugging them and holding onto them.
Blake deserves easiest newborn award. I could not believe this babe! He was SO chill. He just hung out with us the entire time. Wide awake. Never made a peep. Not one I tell you! His dog Bella loves him so much. Dogs and babies will never get old for me.
The B family and I were supposed to shoot on my favorite beach in Palos Verdes but it was FREEZING. Freezing for us Socal people. So windy you couldn’t hear yourself talk. So we drove away from the beach and headed to the horse trails. It was still freezing, but way less windy, and just look at that majestic rainbow!
I sure love in home lifestyle sessions. Baby Brent is the cutest and so is his dog Daisy.

Between mama’s beautiful freckles and Grayson’s cuteness, this family is just too much. The S family is the nicest family ever and Mama bird Alex is also a family photographer. They were in Long Beach from Colorado and wanted photos on the beach. The last couple photos are Grayson with his cousins.
