Any family that tells me they want to do their session in bathing suits, is the family for me! I LOVE this idea so much it hurts. We did their photos at gorgeous El Matador in Malibu. You would never know by looking at these photos that the tide was way too high, the beach was insanely crowded, and there were lines waiting to shoot in certain spots. All totally worth the sweat and adrenaline that comes with shooting here! I love this family!

At the very last minute we decided to do their photoshoot at their house instead of somewhere public. I think it came out perfectly! Loved their cute backyard and the light. Rose was comfortable because she was at her house. Made for easy outfit changes etc. Isn’t she such a gorgeous baby?! I love all her expressions and mama kept calling her “rosebud.” I swooned.

I had so much fun doing the K families mini session! This is the spot where November minis are going to take place. You could do down by the water like they did, or in the sand bluffs if you’re worried about water being too distracting for your babes.

I feel like I have been really relying on my iPhone for photos since we are mainly at the pool, bay, or beach. My camera is just so heavy and not easy to bring out in those wet situations. The girls are loving their chickens and Goldie is obsessed with her fire hat.

This is my beautiful friend Sasha with her baby Aliyah. I know I have mentioned it before, but Aliyah shares her birthday with Goldie which means we all have to be best friends. I mean duh right? I can’t get enough of this gorgeous mama and babe duo in the water at sunset. So stunning! Sasha also does her own hair and makeup which is just too much for me to process. I may or may not have traded photos for braids in my own hair haha.

Clients usually ask me how long a session is and I always say about an hour. Let me tell you, this session was only 20 minutes! We started at 7pm and we were walking away and done at 7:20pm. They call me a magician for a reason I guess! Haha. The reason the session was so short, is because Luke ran straight into the water the second we got down there. I mean can you blame him? The most exciting thing about June is that we had a gorgeous custom chicken coop made and we have chickens! The girls LOVE them. They love to just sit and watch them. Their names are Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Anna, & Elsa. Chickens are for sure a joy bringer! Goldie is fully walking now and I think the butt scoot is a thing of the past and that makes me so sad! My babe is growing up! Evangeline started dance lessons and loves them!
