We had several maternity sessions this month, and one was with my babe Kate! She took the photos for us and I edited them. We make a pretty darn good team if you ask me.

Pretty sure my poor baby bird was sick all of January. Also pretty sure everyone else was sick all of January as well. Not fun times. She got her first official hair cut and was amazing! Even asked to sit by herself. In case you missed it, my husband took some amazing photos of us when we went location scouting. They are some of my favorite ever and you can see them here.

I had the day off yesterday because Evangeline is sick. I didn’t want to bring sickness into my client’s house so we rescheduled our session. She said she wanted to go on an adventure so why not go location scouting. I am so glad we did. I think I found a favorite new spot. I obviously have no idea how this spot will look in the Spring or Summer, I am sure it will still be pretty, but everything dead and golden is my favorite. Christmas! It was so fun this year because she completely understood what was happening. She was so excited for Santa to come. Seeing her face discovering her presents was priceless. In December we also visited the Happy Place & the San Diego Zoo!

November was an exciting month because we found out our babe’s gender! Evangeline knew the entire time, but I wasn’t so sure. I saved the news for last! We put up our tree the day before Thanksgiving and she had SO much fun decorating it. It’s so fun now that she understands Christmas and Santa Claus. She gets Ded Moroz too! When we are driving and she sees decorations and yells “CHRISTMAS!!”
