This might the dreamiest mama and me session I have done yet! Beautiful mama Tracy is my friend and fellow photographer (Pine & Sea Photography) and I was honored when she asked me to do a mama and me session with her darling babe Owen in the wildflowers. We lucked out on the sunset. Look at that light! Owen is so cute and I love his big cheeks and dimples!
The last time I saw Benjamin he was just an itty bitty babe who could barely hold his head up! I was so excited to see how he’s changed since then! We did their family session at Tongva Park in Santa Monica.
August was a big month! Evangeline turned two at the very end of it. She also started her first day of preshcool EVER on her actual birthday. Mama cried! Can’t believe baby girl is in school already. We went to Northern California to see my family and have her birthday party as well.
July was fun! We got that awesome cactus tapestry from Urban Outfitters which makes such a rad background for photos. We celebrated 4th of July at the bay in Belmont Shore. Our dear friends from Australia came to stay with us and Evangeline was, and still is, OBSESSED with their baby Ruby. For my birthday, we kept our tradition and went to Catalina!
The Z family booked me to document their first ever trip to the USA! I had such a great time with them and their daughter was amazing. So much personality! She can also speak not one, but three languages. How amazing is that? We did their family session in Santa Monica by the pier.
I photographed the K family when Owen turned one! On his actual birthday too! Now he is eighteen months and they wanted to document that as well as mama’s baby bump. Owen will be a big brother to a little sister in October. I am so excited for them!
This strawberry baby girl just about murdered me with her cute! The way she looks at her parents, and even me, just about did me over. I dare you to not be totally obsessed.
These weekly unicorn photos are getting so hard! I have to be SO fast and I pretty much take two photos. It was my birthday last week and we did our yearly birthday tradition of going to Catalina! Catalina is a magical place for us, that is where my husband proposed to me three years ago on my birthday. I wish we would have gone last year, but I was way too pregnant and too hot. Evangeline’s new favorite game is to climb the stairs. Over and over and over. She also likes to pull up the pet carpet pads as you will see below. She’s loving her Russian shows on the ipad and will sit and watch them while mama gets things done! She loves the beach. The sand, the water, crawling all over the beach and looking at people, loves it all. She is a little parrot and will say papa or mama on command. She also says “hi!” She knows songs by heart, and will blow raspberries right on cue when the song […]
